Overview

Asia Festival is an Argentine cultural event that highlights the music and dance of Asia and North Africa. Originating from Estudio Sahar (Buenos Aires), it focuses on bringing the culture and history of these regions to life through performances and workshops. Activities include dance and music from China, Japan, India, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Palestine, Morocco, and more.

Role

As a graphic desinger, my main challenge was to create a new brand that would be representative for this festival and could be used the current edition, and also the coming ones

Challenge

The main premise of the visual identity is to convey this mission through every detail, incorporating visual elements that are also associated with these cultures.

Solution

After studying visual elements of arabic cultures, i've come up with a new brand that can really identify the festival and their main studying and celebration field. This design includes a custom made typography (based on arabic calligraphy) and custom made vectorial illustrations (based on arabic mozaiquism)
